All Dharma teachings are free of charge, however as is the Buddhist tradition one can make offerings (dana / generosity) towards the teacher and the monastery. The monastery depends solely on the generosity and kindness of the students and devotees for its running costs and for taking care of the monks and nuns. Anything offered over the retreat period will be greatly appreciated.

Also, if you are able please think of bring with you writing books, pens, pencils and/or medical supplies for the monks. If you can do this it will be extremely helpful for the monastery. Please contact the office on oddiyana2011@yahoo.com for full details of requirements.
